After graduating from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Dijon in 1986, he started out in interior architecture, before founding the 18 Août group in 1987. In 1991, Fabrice Berrux founded Dix Heures Dix, expanding and reorganizing the production of 18 Août. In 1994, he exhibited at Via in Paris. From 1990 onwards, certain products entered the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and were sold in the boutiques of the Museums of Modern Art in Rotterdam, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and at the George Pompidou Center in Paris.
