DCW EDITIONS, a soci\u00e9t\u00e9 par actions simplifi\u00e9e (simplified joint stock company), registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 502 178 684, whose registered office is located at 71 rue de la Fontaine au Roi, 75011 Paris (hereinafter referred to as “DCW\u00e9ditions”), grants consumers an additional commercial warranty, under the conditions defined below (the “Commercial Warranty Conditions”).<\/p>\n\n
DCW\u00e9ditions remains bound by the legal guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641, 1648 and 2232 of the French Civil Code) and the guarantee of conformity for consumers (articles L. 217-4 to L. 217-14 of the French Consumer Code).<\/p>\n\n
Acceptance without reservation of the present Commercial Warranty Conditions, as well as the laws, regulations and other texts in force in the European Union, is necessary in order to benefit from the present Commercial Warranty. Non-compliance with any of the stipulations of the Commercial Warranty Conditions will prevent the benefit of the commercial warranty. <\/p>\n\n
Consequently, DCW\u00e9ditions reserves the right to make all necessary verifications concerning the validity and veracity of the information and documents transmitted.<\/p>\n\n
Article 1 – Conditions for benefiting from the commercial warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The commercial warranty applies only to :<\/p>\n\n Once the online form has been completed, the Buyer will receive a warranty number, which must be retained and used in all warranty-related requests.<\/p>\n\n To benefit from the warranty, the Buyer undertakes to use the product :<\/p>\n\n The product must be kept in the same condition for as long as is necessary for DCW\u00e9ditions to check it.<\/p>\n\n Article 2 – Duration of the commercial warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The commercial warranty is valid for four (4) years from the date of purchase.<\/p>\n\n Article 3 – Contents of the commercial warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n During the warranty period, the Purchaser may obtain repair or replacement of the product, provided that the malfunction is the result of defective materials or poor workmanship.<\/p>\n\n DCW\u00e9ditions alone will decide between repair or replacement.<\/p>\n\n Article 4 – Implementation of the commercial warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n To activate the warranty, the Purchaser must notify the retailer where the product was purchased of the malfunction within seven (7) days.<\/p>\n\n The retailer will contact DCW\u00e9ditions to implement the warranty.<\/p>\n\n Article 5 – Exclusion of commercial warranty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Not covered:<\/p>\n\n Article 6 – Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n This commercial warranty is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n Article 7 – Force majeure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The guarantee does not apply in the event of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.).<\/p>\n\n Article 8 – Personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n DCW\u00e9ditions complies with current regulations on personal data (RGPD).<\/p>\n\n The data collected is used exclusively for warranty management and can be deleted on request.<\/p>\n\n The Buyer may exercise his rights of access, rectification, opposition and deletion by contacting DCW\u00e9ditions.<\/p>\n\n Article 9 – Applicable law and settlement of disputes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The present conditions are subject to French law.
